What bothers you?

Often, I find myself trying to understand why things bother me...

  • Why did that car move into the left lane, the car was not passing just cursing in the left lane?
  • Why do people only think about what's in it for me?
  • How many have kids that want to know why?
  • Have you gone to a resturant and received really bad service and food, why do people go out to eat? (there are some places that have really good food and service, but they are tough to find)
  • My wife falls asleep at about 7:30pm every night in the chair, why does that bother me?
  • Why are so many people at work afraid to help? Seems like they don't want to do any work or change. Why does that bother me?
  • When kids don't get it, when will they get it, do I still not get it?
  • Why when things are going really well do we get some bad news or have something bad happen?
  • Why do they sell laptops with such slow hard-drives?

Is there something that bothers you?

Blogging at workplace

How many of you take the time to blog at work? Are you that lurker reading the blogs, not adding comments just mumble under your breath? Maybe you are the noise maker, stirring up the pot trying to create a lot of noise trying to get people to listen to what you have to say. Perhaps you are the NonSense blogger, putting your thoughts out there without a lot of thought to your point. Then, there is the report, the blogger that has more links in the blog than orginal thoughts. Is there a right or wrong why to blog?

I don't think anyone really knows. Blogging is a great way to start conversation; perhaps share an idea to get folks thinking; or even just ramble on until something makes sense.

As a sophmore blogger, I am attempt to get some thoughts into words while working on my writing over all. The exercise of blogging for me really allows me to empty my mind of thoughts and ideas.

What kind of blogger are you?

The Saloon vs Applebee's

Had a chance join some friends for some spirits last night. After a great dinner at the Hide-a-way, http://hideawaypubandeatery.com/ excellent Fish Fry, we went to Applebee's for drink. Called some friends to meet at the The Saloon. $5 got us pitcher of beer and a Margarita. A word about that Margarita. First of all the Saloon is a shot and beer tavern. Margartia receipe Tequila, Lime Juice, and White Soda. Let's go to Applebee's for some food. First, the Margarita was $5 alone, Spotted Cow $4.75, Honey Wiese $3.75, Miller Lite $3.00, night out with friends "Priceless".

MyKCBlog

MyKCBlog allows one to look at the world through the eyes of another. Does everyone have everything figured out? Keeping the marriage working; keeping the kids on track; making good choices; volunteering but not too much. Need to keep everything in moderation.

Do you have something that you have had toom much of? Are there things you can have too much of? "too much", "not too much". Have you thought about what you have?

"Just a little bit" keeps you statisfied.

America we get what we want when we want it and as much as we want. Wealthiest country in the world.
  • Don't eat too much take a single helping
  • Don't drink to much
  • Don't talk too much
  • Don't have sex too much
  • Not to much cookies
  • Not to much chocolate
  • Not too much video games
  • Not too much yelling
Are there things you can't have too much of?
  • Love
  • God
  • Sex
  • Good Cooking
  • Sleep
  • Money
  • Family
  • Golf
