Near end of contest...

The contest for this summer is nearing the end as agreed upon. See previous post entry...

Let the contest begin. Beat mom on the winter contest. She wants a summer rematch, so I will attempt to win again. Contest end date is August 30. See you at the end.

With the end nearing, I better get out and walk those extra steps. Too bad, I just spent the weekend at Mom's. She bulked me up with lots of good food that I could not pass up. (Thanks Mom for keeping me feed.)

I will post my final weight at the end of the day on August 31 which is Sunday. That will give us one more day. I feel $20 richer already...step...step...step.

Bee problem corrected

As some of you may have heard, we had some Bee's in the basement. German Yellow Jackets thought it would be good idea to build a nest in the corner of the floor boards in the basement. The little sH#Ts were coming in up under the siding and between the foundation and block.

The BeeGuy showed up today to spray some dust. $95 later the nest is slowing down and hopefully dying. Some follow up clean up work is required to get ride of the nest and then chalk the little hole. Very nice BeeGuy knew what he was doing and quickly took my money and hopefully won't see him again.

Golfing and walking help

Golfing 4 days in row help on the weight challenges. However, the back has been acting up a little with all the walking. So, took a cart this week. Keeping the push on until end of this month, trying to win that second bet with Mom.
